Hi everyone!

I would really appreciate anyone taking the time to have a look at my website and offering their thoughts.

As I would like to specialise in waxing for men, I have tried to aim my site towards the guys. I struggled to be honest. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have not loaded all of my pictures yet. I will be including before and after pics in the gallary. Also no prices in yet, and I worked on this for hours last night so I'm sure there are many spelling errors - I'm just too tired to find them all now.

<<< site removed to correct errors and implement suggestions, thanks guys!

Kim if you are reading this I have PM'd you!

Thanks!!!

Hi there

Can't view your site on my iPhone, says it need flash player! May be your site would benefit being compatible to iPhone and smart phone. May be I haven't got all the right bits and pieces on my iPhone to view all sites, However I can view most websites.

Hi Lorainne,

Thanks for the feedback, I will go back now and finish the mobile version wix offeres. Unfortunately the flash sites can't be viewed on mobile devices :((( The mobile version is nowhere near as pretty.

Does anybody else use wix and have an issue with their clients mentioning this?

Thanks!

Hi Stacey. I just had a very quick peep but I'll read it through later tonight when I have more time. Fantastic looking site. I love it!

The two changes that I would make (after a 1 minute peep) are that they should leave 4 weeks rather than 3 as it'll be easier for you and they'll get a better finish. Don't say that waxing hurts as they'll chicken out. I say that it's no different than a woman having her legs waxed if they ask. In other words, don't put any negative thoughts in their head. If you're a good waxer as I'm sure you are……it will hurt less than a crap waxer will do.

I'll be back later. xx

Haha so don't just tell them to harden up? Ok fair enough! I will go back and make those changes now. Thank you for your time, it's very much appreciated!

I reall like the look f your website. The way you have worded the FAQ's is easy to understand and covers common questions.

Well done x

very briefly, I'll look properly tomorrow but spelling errors

gallery not gallary
us page - convenience not convience or convinience
trek not treck
available not avaliable
yield not yeild
FAQ page
a while not awhile

towel not towl
wash and sanitise not wash and sanitised

I'd change the mobile image of price to anything but knife and forks, also the price page only has a list of services not prices and I have no idea where blah is, I actually only just found out that llandegla is near me and I've been here all my life xoxo

I'm guessing that's just an awaiting prices type page....

also - flexible not felxible on prices page

Wow the design is perfect for men IMO.
I'm not a man so I can't tell you exactly but it's smart, sleek, simple colours and not frilly & fancy. I think you'll get a lot of waxing from it (providing it does well on Google).
One thing though, you've spelt Uppder Back by mistake. They might think they are getting their udders waxed! Lol.
Perfect font though and logos good.
:)
Also I'm a bit concerned about the pictures the gallery will hold! Oh just realised it will be pictures of your salon! Durr!!
Also maybe 'intro' should be 'home' instead. :) Makes it easier to navigate.

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone. I'm a terrible speller and typer so I always have to go over everything three times. Really wish I hadn't been so excited and done some polishing before sharing, draft or not (lesson for newbies lol).

I appreciate everyone who took the time to report back on errors though, very kind of you. Even though I grew up using spell check where close enough is good enough, I personally would not use a business with spelling errors on their page.

Having a terrible time changing the knives and forks! Will email their support tomorrow. The mobile site is disappointing I feel.

I will make the changes in the next few days for sure - I only wish I could work out how to take it down for now lol!

I was very worried the site wouldn't be "beauty" enough - I just hope the blokes like it.

Thanks again (I know we get a lot of these)!

Hi Stacey,

Its looking good.. I like the layout , its clear and easy to follow.

Like you I find a flexible tariff often works better for men as often clients can vary from one extreme to the other and it really does ensure value for money for both you and the client.

Having aftercare details on your site and the FAQ's are really helpful for male clients and if you can follow up with aftercare sheets post treatments thats also really helpful. Also retail some basic post waxing skincare - most guys find this really helpful.

Not sure if you are interested but there is an Australian site that has a directory for male therapists that may be helpful to link to.. heres the link take a look and see what you think..

Body waxing for men - Links

Good luck and hope it all goes well

Love beauty14 - udders I actually lol'd Thanks

Jack - thanks for having a look, all great and practical advice, as usual! I will definitely organize an aftercare sheet, just getting them to read it is the problem! Short and sweet I guess. :)

Jack - Oh and thanks for site recommendation. ZoZo had mentioned it but you just reminded me to check it out.

I will pay all of this forward, I promise!
