Hiya guys!

Just about to restock on my lotions and cuticle oils for my manicure and pedicure treatments and started to think about having a change.
Just wondered what everyone was using at the moment?
I have been using salon systems manicure creams, etc coz Sallys is only down the road from me, havent ventured into searching online yet.
Be good to get some feed back,

You can't go wrong with CND's Almond line. They are to die for! :)

I agree completely, i wouldn't even consider changing my mani/pedi range. I love everything about them and so do my clients :!:

There are several things to consider when deciding on a particular range.
What sort of clientele do you have? If you're aiming at the higher end of the market you can choose from CND (my drug of course), Jessica etc, and these will attract a higher cost in terms of professional product purchase and therefore consumer price.
If your clients are used to paying a lower price then you could introduce a premium service using these brands, because you can't charge the same for a CND manicure as for a salon services one!

CND offer several different manicure options from Spa Treatments to Luxury salon manicures ... the products may cost a little more, but they go along way and as with any high end range, you get more treatments out of the jars.

The Almond range is beautiful as has been said, but I love the Citrus even more and the hand and body lotion is the best I have ever used on my skin.

Best of all, you can order on line and not have to leave the salon to go and pick up supplies which in my opinion wastes valuable time (which we are all short of).
Welcome - Sweet Squared if you already have an account or call 08452106060 to set one up or to request samples or for education or product inquiries.

And the Earth pedicure is divine! (Even if I do make an unholy mess with the scrub!)

The citrus hand and body lotion is the best ever hand product i have used.....and i have used lots, lol:lol:

The feeling is like just placing a silk stocking,so soft,so delectable, and great results:!:

Thanks for the replies guys.
Well because of the area i live in and the amount of competition i face even just along our road, i have to keep prices relatively low.
I do 3 types of mani and pedi treatments, eg Mini man £6.50, Full man £13.50 and Luxury man £17.
If using CND products, what prices are you charging?

I charge £30 for a spa mani and £35 for a spa pedi.

Cuccio for me. I LOVE their products. So well priced for such good quality x

This is where you are so wrong! You should start using better products and premium price that service ... you'll be very surprised ... you have to be BOLD in business and if you are worth it then be bold enough to face the competition head on and price yourself accordingly.

When I first read this thread I thought the same as Gigi when I saw your prices. I understand from your point of view its hard because of allot of competition. But I tell you something.... you try CND, your love it and so will your clients. its worth the price difference. Is it that great a price difference over all from the products you use now?

Wow theses prices are too low. How do you make a proffit?
You are welcome to check my website to have a look at my prices. I started charging these as soon as I came out of college. Put them too low and people think you are not confident in what you do so they expect to be getting a not so good service.
Ok so you have competition, so make yourself different from everyone else. Also you cant offer any special offers as you have no room to move

i work in muswell hill and the competition is ridiculous. just looking out my window i can see 3 other salons offering beauty! and there are about another 8-9 salons along the broadway, i still charge a good amount. they pay for the salon and the service they get. i charge £25.50 for luxury mani and 35.50 for a luxury pedi.
