Matrix, darkening blonde. Help!

Hi. Has anyone used 6ma in matrix? I have bleached hair and want to add dark slices. I was advised to use mocha which is fine I just like a cool colour rather than too warm. I’m attending matrix colour course this month.
I know I need warmth. I wasn’t sure If I could use MA with M. Although I have read when going over blonde it’s good to use NW aswell. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
