i would like to know from all geeks out there who use a maximist what your nozzle setting is, when my trainer told/showed me and i went home to set mine it was nothing like hers... since then i have done couch roll tests but im still sorta struggling... at the moment i have it set that when i close it completely and look at the back of the nozzle inside you see a little button or whatever it is with a line, well i turn the nozzle anticlockwise till that line is horizontal... hope that makes sense, i did a few clients tonight and solution was dripping down them, yet i feel my gun is set to minimum, my speed is good so not sure whats going on elp! pweese

Im struggling to know what you mean (its early Lol) mine is on vertical all the time I rarely move it??

Am I getting the question right?!

She means the one that she has to turn to let out the solution. I don't have a maximist - perhaps you could try the couch roll test. x

whoops sorry just read that you've done the couch roll test - are you spraying too close to the client and not moving fast enough? x

Hi

Everyone's setting will be slightly different - you need to find the best setting for your machine. I have trained a few peeps with these machines and they have all been different!

Tighten it up fully and then keep turning 1/4 of a turn until it spays right 9do the couch roll test). Also if solution is leaking from your cup, then either you've overtightened the cup, your threads are clogged or dirty and need wiping or you have too much solution in the cup. Try washing your cup, giving the threads a thorough cleaning - including the ones on the lid that is attached to your gun and then try again.

If you still struggle, pm me and you can contactme by phone and I will talk you through it.

thank you everyone... i was in a right state last night, an my confidence has plumeted, my last 3 clients sprays were crap...what has happened is that i had originally set my dial to what i thought was right and all the time of testing samples and spraying a few clients it was fine, then for some reason i thought i might need to turn my gun up for the solution im using, so i did the couch roll test, well this test allowed me to open up the gun more, so I did and the couch roll was fine, so i thought ok lets start spraying, but when it came to spraying my clients i could see the solution was really wet on them to the point where the solution was dripping down my clients thighs and chest. I also tried a different procedure of spraying and i think this went horribly wrong.... especially under the arms .....i dont know why i saw that but did nothing about it grr.. anways today i phoned them and 2 of them told me their armpits looked grubby and also that one foot did not even get colour on it, whether this has to do with my technique of spraying the foot or the product itself i dont know, putting that aside they said they were happy and would come back i felt bad and have offered them a free spray whenever they feel ready... the other client i did had a wedding to go to and has not responded to my txt asking her how her tan is..... I feel like an idiot for all this *sigh*
