Has anyone’s brushes bristles melted when using a professional hair drier?

I've had paddle brushes disfigure because they're not supposed to be used for drying really.

As far as round brushes though not really. I remember when I was training the bristles on the cheap brushes we get in our kits seemed to become shorter and shorter the more they were used though[emoji849]

If it’s getting hot enough to melt bristles, you’re holding the dryer too close and/or too high a heat.

Is it definitely the heat doing it? I find barbecide kills my denmans! It softens the bristles and then when you use them to blowdry the bristles get disfigured. I now don't leave them in there, I put them in for the 10 minutes which is the minimum and then I take them out.
