Any of use tried it yet? I hate shaving and i don't like the razor bumps/burns and the dark/grey-like tone it leaves on your face in the long-term!

I bought some Parissa Warm Wax yesterday from Boots. I'm probably gonna wait another week or so and then do it so it's a bit longer. I'm gonna do it myself as there isn't anywhere in the UK that do it. [not that i know of anyway]

I tried it on my bf after watching the "whole ball of wax" dvd. I'm not sure if i would try warm wax though. I used hot wax and although it was fairly painful (not unbearable) it lasted a really long time, which was fantastic.

Perhaps you could ask Kim Lawless as she does a lot of waxing, including men's intimate so she might know.

Good luck x

I wax a clients beard and he loves it because he no longer gets lumps and bumps from shaving. However, it takes a real man to stand the pain. Also, it could grow back a bit patchy, so not so good if you ever decided to grow a beard. It feels great though.....as smooth as a baby's bum xxx
Ps. I would only use hot wax.....NEVER strip wax. xxx

Yeah i'm not bothered about pain really! Kinda like getting a tattoo - if you want it enough then you'd get it regardless of the pain. You have a salon somewhere?

Im really suprised by this, I must have dreamed it, but thought you werent aloud to wax Beards!!
Am quite interested to have a go if you can.

If there's hair on it, you can wax anything!
I do intimate male waxing, i wax nostrils, ears and hairlines, as well as the usual.
:)

Sorry for being stupid here, but how do you wax notstrils and ears?

Non strip wax Hun, is great for this, only gets the hair that's just inside the nostril, you kind of make a plug of wax wait for it to set and then using wax you have put round the outside of the nostril yo pull it out taking the hairs out. Lovely neat nostrils!!

As DR Smith from Lost In Space would say "OH THE PAIN, THE PAIN".

You will get bleeding too, the hair growth in a mans beard is quite strong and ripping those buggars out is gonna hurt.

It can also lead to unnecessary stretching an eventually more wrinkles and loose skin.

Perhaps you should go for a trial run first.

Transsexuals are a different matter, as hormones weaken the hair root and growth structure.

Go and see Kim Lawless, I'm sure she will get great satisfaction from having a go, ripping a mans beard out with wax is a delicate art in itself . :)

Kim is the Nurse Diesel of waxing :) no offence ....

That's me alright. I'll rip it out with my teeth whilst texting with one hand and holding a glass of champagne in the other.

You forgot the blunt nosed pliers :)

Well i'd even started plucking some of my beard hair out but don't think it's too good for the skin, lol., but the hairs growing back there are a lot thinner already so they'll probably be easy to wax off?
