hi all

i will be spraying a family member who is going trough the menopause and gets frequent sweats trough the day and night,i kno that the tan can run under arms from sweating,would this be the same on the neck and back? if so is menopausel clients unsutiable for a spray tan cause of this? or any way round it? i would be better off spraying her in the morning and ketting the tan develop and wash off before bed.

any ideas?

This could pose a problem for your tan and tbh it doesn't matter what time you do the tan as hot sweats can come at any time be it day or night(though usually worse at night).The back and neck can be horrendous so the best thing you could advise is that she has the tan in the morning then go home and basically do nothing(total relaxation,no shopping,no walking etc)get her to wear a loose cotton robe/dress and not do anything which could set a flush off(easier said than done I know) Menapausal women are not a contra- indication but you must give correct advice/aftercare.HTH

Hi

Hormones obviously can affect the tan, including periods, pregnancy, hrt etc. So long as you warn your client that her tan may turn out patchy or even not at all and she fully understands this, then go ahead and tan her.

However, as previously advised, warn her not to get too sweaty afterwards. If her flushes are worst at nighttime, then tan her in the morning, if its the other way round, then tan her in the evening to be washed off in the morning.:hug:

i never tort of this before,the client is my mam and she will understand,we will give it a trail run and see how we go,i think ill spray her on the morn n wash off before bedtime.
