Hey guys,
I’ve just part trained in microblading and awaiting for my practical as can’t in lockdown! I am making a room in my bungalow into the beauty room. I know not to have carpet or soft furnishings. Basically I need to contact the council and speak about what my certain council regulations are but I’ve spoken to them and they haven’t given me any info I think I must of been in the ‘planning’ department for planning permission or something as they said everything should be fine. Cannot seem to find the right department where would

I would ring them again ask to speak to their environmental health department maybe?
Some councils are absolutely useless with things like this! Hope this helps!

I think you can start your whole career and activity from your house. For example, search other microblading removal girls working for a longer time in this industry. They are the perfect ones to help you, and you can always learn something from them. On top of that, a lot of artists not only started their careers in their houses or apartments. Of course, if you have a nice place to work and your clients enjoy itțs perfect, but people need a good specialist, not just a beautiful place to wait for their appointment.

You can. You need a special treatment license which is the same sort of thing a tattoist needs etc apply for a special treatment license at your council, there is a fee, inspection and annual renewal. I have closed my salon operation for this to focus on hairdressing which was main business and I am selling all the equipment and stock, ideal for a home based salon inc bed. But I know all the legalities, we used finishing touches so they were hot on training etc happy to advise and help
