Hi
Just wondered if someone can offer some advice... I have worked for myself for 6 years now specialising in HD brows and lashes. I'm thinking of training to do microblading and just wondered if anyone can recommend a good trainer. I am based in Essex. Also what else do you need to consider, would I have to get a special license etc.... just trying to work out costings.

Many thanks in advance

Hi I trained with Epibrow over 3 years ago and very busy with microblading! You'd need to check with your local council to see what they'd require, I needed to have a sterile room separate in my salon with running hot water with separate sinks, clinical waste and sharps contracts set up and a tattooing licence x

Hi Emma
We train level 3 and level 4 microblading in our centre in South Ockendon with Sue Moxley, who is a well known beauty artist, who is also an assessor and level 4 micropigmentation holder. We are a regulated VTCT centre and if you are based in Essex, you need the regulated certificate as the council will not grant you a licence otherwise,if you are interested please email us on [email protected] thanks

Hi Emma,

Recently trained with Epibrow in Glasgow. Can't recommend them highly enough really, 3 of us on the course we're at different levels/skills in beauty and we're all so excited about it all! Louise really is amazing at what she does. Only negative was they forgot to order lunch:( but it was 3pm before we realised anyway and we got goody bags with eyelash serum to make up for it (which look better than lunch! Lol) I think it can be an expensive thing to do but you might as well get the right training I think if you're serious.
I don't know if they have anywhere in Essex though???but worth a hotel trip regardless!
Hope this helps

Hi Kizkav,

We did the Brow Medic Course, its a mixture of Microblading, Semi-permanent makeup and brow restoration / repair. They were calling it a "one stop shop" and I suppose it is, I was worried about not having as much experience as some of the competition so I decided this would hopefully give me the edge. Its early days but looking really good. Louise Bannigan who did the training is just amazing :)

Jamie or James sorted it all out for me, he's lovely. I had two colleagues coming up from London and he booked their accommodation for them and picked them up at the airport!!! its very different the way they do things.

I took it out on finance and the payments are a bit lower than I was expecting so overall I'm over the moon.

What course did you go for yourself, Kizkav?

Xx

Hi, I just coming up to the end of my PHIBROWS trading it’s the best out there!!
I went to an attendance course and after that you have to complete course work 11 levels.
You get a fantastic kit, their pigments and blades are fantastic and you don’t just attend two day course and that it’s it. So glad I i went with phibrows!! Also the laws with microblading will change next year I believe and will fall under SPMU as it is separate at the moment. You will need your license which is around £175. I think a course I’m essex is coming up on the 9th of December as well

Hope this helps

What sort of cost was this training I cannot find any info on cost? Was it worthwhile? I'm a brow therapist now and it seems the logical next step, but nervous of spending a fortune and not being confident? Xx thanks
