I'm currently doing a non surgical facelift microcurrent treatment on several clients. One in particular is in her 70s.

With the increased blood flow she is getting downy white hairs on her face.

Has anyone experienced this,, don't want to discontinue her treatments but don't want her to be generating facial hair either.

I know it can with the rejuvenation of the atp it can stimulate hair growth would luv anyone that may have used it, what they think?

In women usually androgen imbalance is usually the cause of excess hair (alpha 5 reductase). ATP is used in grafting hair transplants to provide oxygen to aid its success. So yes - the added stimulation and oxygenation is likely triggering more growth in a post menopausal client. Sometimes growth can occur if the skin is experiencing irritation as it wants to protect itself. The older the skin we treat, the more careful we need to be as there is usually less resilience and it takes longer for the skin to fully recover from a treatment. What about the clients' history - has she suffered from excess hair before or have diabetes/insulin resistance? This would be another red flag concerning possible stimulation.
