Hi everyone,

I am looking into purchasing a microdermabrasion machine and have a trial booked in at the salon with Skin Base, but am also considering other brands - does anyone have any experience with skinbase or another MD company that they could recommend me to take a look at?

Thanks:smack:

Definately novita by skinfocal, i have posted many times to say not only how good the systems are but the machines are fantastic. I cant say enough good stuff about them. Its the training and back up its so good. I would get them in for a demo and chat to them, their knowledge is amazing and our clients are over the moon, they just keep coming back.

Hi, We use skinbase its an excellent machine with great customer service. I'm sure you will get on well with the trial. Lou xx

Hi there,
my friend got skinbase out to do their '2 week trial' and what a load of rubbish.
their suction isnt great and their crystals fo everywhere which means more product to buy!!
i told her to go with diamond and she thanks me everyday. the difference is unbelievable.
they are not the cheapest but certainly not the most exspensive.
You pay for what you get, and the products reasonable too.
Honestly I've just joined this and wish I could tell you all how amazing this company is.
They sponsored the oscars, golden globes so must be doing something right!
Diamond International Pty Ltd - Leaders in aesthetic technology

Companies that offer a free trial with no obligation wouldnt do so if they were rubbish. We have been using this system for 2 years with no problems. I know for around 20 people that have the system and love it. They won an award at professional beauty and it costs you nothing to try it out :: Welcome to SkinBase :: Lou x

Quite right - as someone new to this game, I agree that a free trial is worth a go. The majority of people I've spoken to seem to rate the Skinbase unit, although as I understand it the range of treatments offered may be limited - no oxygen for example. As long as there is no commitment then give it a go!

i had everyone out for a demo when i was buying last year. Had caci, crystal clear, skinbase, and carlton professional.
didnt have skin and body business? are they new not heard of them before?
I bought from Diamond International and got a great microd machine. I am thinking of IPL now as so many clients are asking me for it and going elsewhere to get it!?
i am so happy i invested the money as its so little to run and my clients all booked in for courses right away.
To be honest what done it for me was the service and the marketing, Diamond sponsored the Oscars last year and my clients love they are getting what the celebrities got. as well as that they are so helpful and reallly know their business.
hope this helps huni

Hi I have noticed you have mentioned IPL.
I would highly recommend LUMENIS.

I trained with the system IPL LUMENIS ONE and boy what a system.
It is two technologies in one, one for vascular lessions etc and the other for permanant hair removal.

I had my training with a french lady who speaks fluent english and highly rated for what she does and teaches and trains worldwide.

If you need her personal email just let me know and I will pass it on and she will be able to point you in the right direction.

DermaCo Skincare is the only company you need to call.

look at their website DermaCo Skincare.

or type dermaco skincare into google

Another vote for Novita by Skin Focal. Their clinical (consultant dermatologist) background is highly credible and their knowledge is comprehensive. The machine itself is very well built, with a pump man enough for the job. No crystals left behind, and 3 sizes of diamond head.
Very happy with my machine, and very confident in the support from Corinne, the owner of the company.

I have the Skinbase machine, worked fine for 1st 12 months had so many problems recently and the support is not great!

The suction is not great you also need to buy new handsets and jars often which i was not advised in the begining. Make sure you shop arround
