Since doing facials at college I seem to have developed a few milia on my chin area. In the past when i have managed to squeeze the hard lumps (which normally don't squeeze), a stringy white substance comes out (not a hard pearlised lump). But the ones I have now won't squeeze at all. What is the best treatment for milia? Is there anything i can put on them?

Hi,

exfoliation and moisturising, milia is where debris/sebum gets stuck under the hardened surface of the skin.

I perform microdermabrasion on clients who have problems with milia and it works a treat, if not electrolysis gives good results.

Dont squeeze them you could damage the skin and be left with scars. Electrolysis is the best way to remove them very easily and with no damage to the skin

I remove milia with a disposable lancet, followed by a post extraction solution and 3mins of high frequency.
