Hi everyone,

I bought some millenium tips at excel, i purchased the nail glue and resin.

Does anyone know which one is best for applying tips before a gel overlay?

As i know some companies call glue resin and so on!

Thanks for your help

You can use either adhesive or resin, the strength will come from the overlay you apply.

They will both work but the glue is for gluing x

I used millenium resin when I ran out of glue and didn't notice a difference x

glue (professionals call it adhesive) and resin are much the same, the difference is the viscosity, resin is just a thicker consistency adhesive.
Resin also gives you a little more play time.

and to add to this... Resins are normally used with Fiberglass systems!

NailZoo is correct; it's really important to distinguish yourself as a NAIL PRO and Nail Pros use ADHESIVE not glue... glue was what we used at school to stick pretty pictures on paper - remember the white stuff (or as Samuel calls it - Mr Ed!!)...

For those that don't get the Mr Ed-ism - it is a Yank thing... Mr Ed was HORSE on a program called Mr Ed in the states.... glue is an animal bi-product and adhesives are cynoacrylates! HTH's!

When I was at school the white glue was called Marvin, PVA glue, they have it in hair gel these days doncha know! Just googled it and it's a water soluble synthetic polymer.

I use brush on resin to adhere tips whenever I use them.....done in seconds.
