Minx and Acrylic

HI!

I have had a look and cant find the answer to my query on the forums so just wondered if anyone has used acrylic l & p over minx???
I want to have minx on my fingers that will last more than a few days, a few people have mentioned capping with gel, but I am not trained in gel! So would putting a clear l and p over the top work?? then I could file off when it grows out???

Hi !!

Get yourself onto the minx social group !!! I asked this the other day and some techs have done it and its stayed on. I wondered whether it would work with Poppits and without the use of primer as my system uses a primer. Going to give it a go later on in the week !

yeah I am part of the minx group but cant get onto it from my mobile and I am waiting for internet to be connected in my new house so having to use mobile intrernet for everything!!!
I am glad to hear it worked though and will definitely have a go at it

Primer is only EVER for use on the natural nail and only if your system requires it.

I have looked everywhere on the minx group for the answer to this question but can only find that people have asked about gel over minx. Has anyone tried clear acrylic over minx on fingers, does it help them last longer? I worry that the acrylic would not stay on as it has no natural nail or tip to adhere to? If it does help, would you cover the whole nail with clear acrylic or just the tip to seal? Can anyone help? Many thanks x

You should have posted this question on the Minx lovers social gfoup. fifitrix has done it and had great success I believe. Why not send her a pm direct and see what she has to tell you?

I ended up experiementing with it and acrylic works great over minx and there was no lifting at all
