I have just asked one of my regulars if she would like to be minxed, her respnce was what an earth is that. Any way after explaining she was quite excited to have then done, allthough she has to tell every one that i did them and she ownes a newspaper shop so good advertising. Any hows she said if they only come off with heat from such as a hairdryer, surely they will come off when she blow drys her hair mmmmmm:green: any one help me with this one

Now I haven't tried this so I can't be 100% sure, but as far as I know even when the Minx have been heated you still have to have a real 'pick' for want of a better word....at the edges to peel them off, they don't when heated just fall off IYKWIM xx

what about hot baths ?

The same I guess. I have had my toes minxed now for a couple of weeks and they haven't budged, not in the bath, shower, not even when out walking with my wellies that are too small for me rubbing at them  (which I do every day, why oh why don't I buy a bigger pair!!!)

I am sure Mrs Sweet said that baths where fine....they must have thought of all these things when they where designed...people cant be expected not to bath or dry hair...

Believe me, this is only going to be a problem if her hair is 6 foot long and hanging round her fingers or ankles!

Minx needs directly applied heat to soften the adhesive. When its warm it peels back lovely, but blow-drying, baths or sauna's (all of which I have experienced whilst wearing Minx) don't affect it......a hairdryer, aimed directly at the finger or toe, loosens the veneer enough to be able to lift an edge without damaging the nail, but if you moved the heat source away, it would then re-fix again, quite fast, with no difference/damage at all.

From a durability 'sceptic' I'm very impressed! Minx lasted easily a week on my fingers (and that was a very busy work week in the salon) and tonight I have changed my toes from one Minx look to another after more than 3 weeks.....very reluctantly......because they were still totally sound, but I needed something to go with a new dress!
