Having spent a small fortune on minx, and other stuff, revamping the salon etc, I want to save money by using the infrared lamp we already have in the salon for minxing. Its my mums and I have no idea what she uses it for in massage, but she does! It has a fairly new clear bulb, definately infrared as she needs the heat. Its 250w.
Is this suitable to minx? I don't want to start using what stock I have in case its going to not work, or cause damage etc. If we didn't already have this (cost over £200 apparently) I would have saved up for minx heat. Many thanks!

infrared lamps are used for pre-heating specific areas before treatment - lovely:green:

I think the minx lamp is 150w so 250w may be too hot?? If so you will need to keep the lamp a fair distance so as to prevent burns. look up the Inverse Square Law :!: :!:
I'm sure others geeks may advise you in more detail
hth's:hug:

i got the official lamp from s2 and the bulb they provided me with was 250w so must be ok, i do have to be careful tho as gets very hot. my lamp has a dimmer switch so i can turn down, as long as you leave far enough away from the hands/feet then i'm sure there is no difference. hth

Your lamp sounds just fine 'n dandy for using with MInx. Have fun.
