Is it OK to use a regular light for Minx as the demonstrator in this link seems to be using one in this tutorial? I know you need heat so wondered :!:

It is not a normal light in the tutorial it is an infrared heat lamp with a white bulb instead of a red bulb ... that is the only difference.
You need much more heat than an ordinary bulb generates. Stick to what the manufacturer recommends or you will have problems.
