MINX - No previous nail experience...?

Hi,

This might be a really stupid question? Just came across a training day for Minx. Just wondered if you need to be a nail tech or have previous beauty certificates to do it? (I dont have any nail experience as yet )

I'm new to this too but I believe and have been told by their trainer that you do have to have completed the CND Foundation Course to apply Minx! Training is apparently Free but I suppose you have to buy all the equipment to get set up.

I'm sorry Kimberley. I hate disappointing anyone but ... Minx is indeed a professional use only product so to purchase you do need to be a trained manicurist or nail technician.

BUT ............ you don't need to be trained to WEAR Minx ..............

You could call Sweet Squared on 08452106060 to find a salon that offers this service near to where you are.

No ... this is not actually correct information .. you certainly do not need Creative training to be able to purchase Minx nail Veneers.

But you do need to be a trained manicurist or nail technician with any system. Plus there is no equipment to set up really.
You need Minx Veneers of course and a suitable heat source to warm the Minx. You can purchase a package or use any suitable equipment you already have.

Its ok thanks lol, i saw the course on Ellison's but it doesnt say you need previous experience??

I am going on a man/ped training day soon, so will i be able to do it after that? I dont need to be an acryllic nail tech??

You don't need to be a trained nail technician only a trained manicurist.

As Ellisons only sell to professionals, I expect they are assuming that people on the course will be professional .. they ask you to wear professional dress for the class.

That is a question best directed to Sweet Squared or Ellisons ... we do not quote wholesale prices in any posts here on thesalongeek.

you do need to be a trained beauty therapist or nail tek to purchase minx. you can be trained in ANY product but providing you have a recognized certificate you will be fine. hth's
