Minx not big enough to cover toenail

Done minx on toes today, but even the biggest one was too small. The client has toenails the sort of curve round her toe and it left a sort of triangular gap. Does anyone know hot to fix this.

Her other toes are tiny and poke upwards. Found it a real struggle to keep the Minx on while filing off excess. Was really disappointed.:cry:

Also Minx file didn't seem to cut through minx as well and I have only used it 5 times.

Anyone else had this?

I did notice myself that some of the designs can be turned sideways. This way, I used finger Minx on my toes! Possibly try turning it by 90 degrees if the design will allow?

With the lifting when trying to file off, i find this happens with tiny nails too, I tend to use cuticle clippers instead on those, just to make sure i dont pull at it, then warm them up well again, and press down firmly with the hoof stick.hth.xx

Just as an FYI, they are making the toe designs wider. The new metallic blue Minx for toes is this way (shorter and wider).

just reading through some minx threads - if u turn the design sideways how to u get rid of the excess? do u just trim it with scissors as obviously there's no free edge to file off...?

I found the same with the file. I use an ordinary one now thats not too rough. It was taking forever with the Minx file! xxx
