Hi

I just wanted to check that i am correct in thinking that Minx can be applied onto Gel Nails?

Also, i usually scrubfresh a natural nail before applying Minx, can you use scrubfresh ontop of Gel? If not, what would you recommend i use to make sure the nail is clean?

Thanks

Yes and ....yes you can use Scrubfresh on the surface of the gel ... one word of advice ... I would not leave the surface with a high gloss shine .. I would dull it down with a soft buffer (then scrubfresh) before applying the Minx Veneer. Some believe Minx last longer this way.

I have used Minx over gel and its been fine, i use scrubfresh to prep and to clean over the surface of gel prior to appying Minx....I use a non soak off gel though.

Thanks for your help ladies. I haven't studied Gel yet, so i am a bit clueless!

So could scrubfresh affect the Gel if it is not a non-soak off gel?

Also, if the person has a rhinestone on the nail, what is the best way to remove this?

Scrubfresh could affect a soak off gel if it was in prolonged contact with it (a quick swipe will not have a deleterious affect) but it will not affect a buff off gel.

I use cuticle nippers to remove rhinestones.
