You can tailor the minx to fit you clients nails in the same way you do for tips and forms etc, choose the one that's a little too big and trim down with some sharp nail scissors. X x

And if the nail is way too big, you can layer by putting a small piece down the side and then another larger one over the top of it!!

That's a great idea, didn't thik of that. I did my mums toes in gold the other day and the biggest minx wernt quite big enough so I just placed it central and there was a small gap either side. To be honest I wasn't happy with them and did think there must be another way to do this!thanks X

i have a few clients with wide toes and i turn the minx horizontal.... if the pattern allows me ie plain floral or leapard :) xx

I did a set of finger nails with the gold lightening a couple of days ago and I Layered by putting a small strip down the side and overlapped with a full size piece for the bigger nails that were too wide for one piece of minx. You cant tell at all, if you look very closely then you can see a very faint line but hardly at all. Obviously this wouldnt work for all the designs/patterns, but for the more plain ones its a great idea. I'll post a picture on my profile now. x

For people who have a wide toe nail, i have used 2 peices of minx -and layered as Geeg says.
However....if you use the silver/golden lightening ones - the plain metallics, if you are not careful, you can see where one overlays ontop of the other. So to rectify this, i apply the largest minx peice and use that, tailored to fit perfectly to the outside edge of the nail sidewall on the outside edge of the big toe, then, to apply the smaller peice to go down the inner side wall of the big toe, I offer it up to the partially covered big toe & rub it over it, which will give you the line to cut (the already applied minx edge will be raised, therefore creating a higher plane for you to rub and get the 'line') Then, carefully cut the thinner minx to fit.
I have always kept all my old unused Minx pieces just for this purpose.

Hth's xx

I layer my minx with similar colors on the big toe and seal them with a clear minx.. looks lovely and last even longer. :green:
