Hi, I've been using Minx and Trendy Nail Wraps and just wondered if anyone else has experienced this......me and 2 other people who have had Trendy Nail Wraps on their fingernails have noticed the natural nail becoming weak and very flexible afterwards. The 'Trendy' ones are thicker than Minx - could this be why? It's almost like when you've had a plaster on yr finger and it makes yr nail soft. The application process is the same as Minx. I'm assuming no-one has experienced this with Minx. Maybe Minx is more permeable than the other ones and doesn't 'soffocate' the nail. I'm thinking now I will stick to just Minx for fingers and only use the other ones on toes as toenails tend to be thicker anyway.

Any advice/ideas gratefully received.

Thanks everyone.

Did you dehydrate the nail properly first?

Yes, I use the NSI pure plus.

I have used trendy on my toes and fingers and to be honest not happy!

They stay on great and look fine, but when the removal comes in ..terrible...I remove under heat and it has taken a layers off my nails both fingers and toes...maybe the adhesive is a bit too strong on them...but in any case it's not good

I havent used the trendy ones, only minx, I was just wondering as your discription sounds like there was alot of moistuere traped under it, thats why I asked about de-hydrating,
