Hi guys

Ive just started to do minx and the clients ive done so far havent been impressed, they have all basically said well its nothing more than a sticker for your nails and some complained it didnt fit the whole of the nail bed properly :-( I explained it didnt have to be but they still compalined.

has anyone else had this?

Hi hun, I would suggest you read up on minx and educate your clients. Minx is a high quality product which can last for weeks when applied properly and professionly, I am sure stickers would not last a day?

As for it not fitting the whole of the nail, well minx come in various sizes if I have a misshapen nail or the minx will not fit, ie to big or too small, I always go too big and cut with curved scissors, and always leave small margin as you would when applying nail polish. pop it scissors are usefull.

I am overwhelmed by clients demand with minx at the moment, they can't get enough. x

Nothing more than a sticker? Oh I would find it hard to bite my tongue if my clients said this to me!!! It should fit the whole of the nail PLATE because there are ways of making it.
Maybe you would benefit from the training hun. They do offer a course in this
I think they are the best invention ever and my clients have absolutely fallen in love with them xxx

Im very busy withe MINX too at the moment.
Dont give up though, keep selling it well...It might not suit everyone but as long as you believe in your product then this will show.
Keep practicing x

I agree ... it sounds like you yourself are not confident with Minx so neither are your clients. Minx is HUGE and I suppose the real answer toyour quedstion is that, NO, I have never had a client have the reaction your clients seem to be having .... it may be coming from you.

I've been doing quite a few Minx fingers lately. The only person I've had comment on it not covering the whole nail bed was my 5 year old niece. No one else commented on it.

I think when people regularly get their nails done professionally they know we leave a small margin around the eponychium and side walls.

Only firends of mine say "the stickers". I say they're not quite stickers. They have a stony adhesive which I need to heat with an infrared lamp. When they see the lamp and finished product they completely change their tune.
