Hi geeks, I feel a little silly posting this, but I cant work it out, lol!
I have been doing a little bit of minxing on friends etc, and now ready to do on clients, so need to buy a minx lamp, (rather than my hairdryer)
Now, I have looked at the s2 one, and see that it has a clamp for the table-great.
But...how the blooming hell do I do toes if my lamp is clamped to my table??? Surely I dont ask my lovely ladies to cock their legs up on my desk:lol::lol::lol:
Apologies if Im being a dope, but would love to know before I buy my lamp, lol. I understand with the small lamps been put on the links, (yes, I have used the search facility:wink2:) as they can just go down on the floor?
Help!

It has moving arms...it bends loads so you can bend/move it all over the place....i had it clamped to my desk and used it to do Robs toes no problem...(he has silver lightening on...)

Hi,
I use my lamp on the floor and have come up with an idea which works for me. I've got a small message/photo holder - it's a small cube with a wire sticking out of it. There is a tiny clothes peg at the top of the wire to attach messages/photos to - IYKWIM. I think it came out of a Xmas cracker
Anyway............. I clip the sheet of Minx to the peg and it stands up in front of the lamp and that keeps them warm.
Before application, I further heat each one by attaching it to my scissors and holding it directly in front of the lamp.
It's unconventional, but it works for me ! I'm doing loads just now !
HTH

Ah I see, so the arms of the lamp are quite long? It can be left clamped. but will still move right down. Hmmm trouble with that is that my pedi chair is not really near my nail desk:irked: God Im gonna have to rethink this, lol!
