Morning Geeks,

I know that you can layer Shellac to create different colours but can you mix it??

My client wants a creamy lilac shade so was thinking about mixings purple purple and one of the whites???

Can I do this or is it a recipe for disaster?

Thanks xx

You shouldn't mix it together , stick to layering x

No mixing, layer only.

Why is it youre not supposed to mix them?

Hiya
Each shellac colour is formulated differently so if you mix you can get curing issues. If you go over to the shellac group you'll find this answered by Geeg in much better detail. Hope that helps x

Thats purple purple x2 with 1 layer of moonlight and roses on top x

Purple purple and Studio white is fab!! Or Rock Royalty and Studio white is also a good combo for lilac/lavender colour!
