I've read a lot on here about mma products but one thing i'd like to know is is it used in any gels or only found in l+p.:o sorry if this is a stupid question x

The chemistry isn't as simple as that unfortunately! MMA and EMA is found in many overlay systems but as a co-polymer.
The MMA that you need to worry about is a system that uses MMA as the monomer (i.e. liquid) A better system to use has EMA as the monomer but the powder will have both EMA and MMA and that is safe to use
