HI,

this might sound a bit strange but i have always worked in a salon so am very used to being in a salon environment and i'm now starting to add my beauty therapy treatments to my mobile nail service and was wondering if it is easy to do treatments such as waxing, pedicures etc in someone else's house!! I only ask because obviously i have all my equipment couch, waxer, foot spa etc but what do you do about an appropriate surface to stand your wax pot on etc and heating it before the treatment commences if they have only booked you for a wax! you would have to wait around while it heats up!!

Ahh lots of questions to ask, prob seems really silly but i'm used to just sitting at someone's dining table and doing a set of nails!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!:)

Hi hun, doesnt sound silly at all,

I have a little table that i use for my wax pot etc. I bought i in argos for about 15 quid.
I have an incar charger for my waxpot so it heats it on the way to my client.

The only thing i would advise you on is to get a light weight couch. They seriously do your back in if you are doing a lot of work with it.

xxxx
