looking to start up a mobile business... I am currently on Maternity leave with two small children. I don't want to return to full time work but want to do something that fits round my life and kids. I don't exspect to be a millionaire from this business I just want something that can keep me as a be at home mum.

I plan to work days, evenings and some weekends around my family.

I would like to offer... gel nails, threading, eyelashes and possibly spray tanning.

Questions

1) best place to train for gel nails?

2) mobile tanning is it worth it?

3) basic kit start up costs?

4) is it worth offering gel exstentions as well as just gel polish?

5) do you think it's worth specialising in one area or be able to offer a range of services?

Anymore advice? I am in early stages of planning and starting a business plan.

Any tips anyone?

Hey, I find mobile work is brilliant for fitting in around a family. I started off with converting to CND Shellac (I previously worked in salons) I then did spray tanning which I'm not overly busy with but I don't heavily promote like I do with Shellac. Maybe research a couple of companies that offer training see what grabs your interest. I think it's good to be able to offer a variety of treatments in the long run but to be honest the majority of my clients are Shellac. If you contact companies direct they will get back to you with costs and course details most are really helpful.
Good luck x

Thank you for you help x
