Hi
I’m tempted to start mobile lash extensions, I’ve trained with flirties who I love and miss doing them, I do nails at a salon at the moment but really want to start lashing.
Can anyone advise me how they get on with humidity levels mobile? Do you have your own stool also? And a blanket/lighting that you take with you! And are you busy with them? I will do nails also but my worries about lashing was the humidity and my back!

Hiya
I'm a mobile therapist specialising in lashes whilst offering other treatments. I have my own mobile set up ( couch/stool/lighting and hygrometer for humidity monitoring). My client base is steady and slowly building to regular clients.
I have a spinal injury/disability and do struggle some days more than others with my back but ensuring I'm working at a comfortable level prevents some of the discomfort. Hope that helped a little

Thank you for your reply. Do you offer all other beauty treatments then? I’m tempted too do this also but was wondering if I should set a minimum spend, as going out for a brow shape wouldn’t be viable.
Also patch tests, do you just go and do these as normal or do you ask for a deposit first? And What’s your radius on travel?
Sorry for all the questions! Just curious on what others do to help give me more direction!
Thank you

I offer Russian volume, hybrid and classic lashes, 7 step complete brows, facial threading and waxing, tinting and lash lifts/tint. I haven't set a minimum spend as yet as some of my best clients are the ones who spend little but often but I use my discretion as far as travelling for a small spend is concerned. I can accommodate for clients at home too so it's another option.
I set up patch test appointments as a patch testing and consultation so all paperwork is signed and the client is clued up on their treatment before they book. I don't currently take deposits but have been toying with the idea for lash extensions, they're hard slots to fill if someone cancels late. I offer treatments within a 10 mile radius of home, I can travel further but this is arranged beforehand and incurs a nominal fee for doing so.
Let me know if I can be of any more help

Thank you so much! That’s a big help. I thought 10 miles also.
Can I ask what stool you have? I have a fold up one which is good for travel but was debating whether I’m should get a height adjustable one. But this would mean it’s bulkier for carrying.
Can I also ask, I currently do classics, I want to do Russians in the future, and classic infills are 2-3 weeks, but my client said she got told 5 weeks by someone else.. does she mean for Russians? As you lose so many of your own lashes you couldn’t do 5 weeks classic infills?! Just so I know to explain this is for Russian ones she’s been informed about!
Thanks again!

Watching this as I am thinking of training in lash extensions and going mobile x
