Mobile minx lamp, any ideas?

Well, I love Minx, but I think the lamp might be too bulky and also time consuming in setting up (If I remember right, you have to attach it to the table?) for mobile. Does anyone have a good idea for an alternative lamp for mobile use with Minx? Something which just stands on your nail table, and is smaller and easier to transport.

I am guessing that as long as you buy an infra red bulb with the correct output you could put it in any lamp that would suit your needs xx

I am guessing it wouldn't be that easy to use this one though as you would need to hold it, from the picture it doesn't look like it would angle down.

Well Thanks to Angie's link I bought this lamp, I didn't get it from Ebay but from here Medisana Infrared Lamp Irl - £15.99 - Heat & Infracare- Relaxation & Therapy -Electrical - Chemist Direct and it is even cheaper, bonus.

IMHO it isn't as easy to use as the lamp from S2, but as I am a part time tech I felt that for the moment this would do me just fine.

Do we know yet if it would be possible to just use a 150w infra red light bulb in a normal lamp ...
I have one of those bendy lamps It would be perfect for me to use if I can just pop a bulb in....
Gotta be easier than the hairdryer method lol...

I really like the products and there is a design for everyone! I think they last a good 5 days (more on toes) if you look after them, they do last a little longer but I find they shrink away at the free edge slightly - Does anyone have any solutions for this?

I was told that if you buy an infared bulb from a reptile shop, these can be used in a normal lamp. I think you just have to check that the lamp of choice can take the wattage bulb. In fact, I may even try this myself, lol

It does not angel down fully but I just lift the hand up slightly it works perfectly, you can use it for deep tissue massage too.
