Hi

I have looked at the other posts with regard to this but they are quite old now.

I will be working in a hairdressers salon on Saturdays and mobile during the week once I have qaulified my Ez Flow gel course.

I have looked at some of mobile nail stations and they look good but a bit weighty (i'm only 4" 11) I havel also looked at some of the camping tables that some of the threads have previously suggested, but I'm unsure how professional they appear to clients.

How do clients react to a 'camping' type table or are they not concerned ?

I thought I would get a static table for the salon, I have seen one at a very reasonable price............... should I just go for a mobile station ?

Many thanks

This is the one I had when I was mobile,

I personally do not like the idea of a camping table or anything else similar, eg ironing board. I don't doubt that there are some clients that couldn't care less but I feel to be a true professional then all equipment needs to be professional. After all you only need to do a couple of treatments to make back your money on the nail station AND if you do sell it on it the future (which I did) you will probably make back at least half of what you paid for it.

Are the salon providing the static nail station ?

Hi

A lovely lady does my nails -she comes round every three weeks with her little camping table I remember thinking the first time she came how much more proffessional it was to bring everything that she needed including the table (never gave it much thought about the type of table)- rather than expecting to sit at my dining or kitchen table. Also if anything spills(not a nail geek - but I am considering it- so correct me if Im wrong) acetone or the other liquid:lol: it might damage your clients table. IMHO dont spend a small fortune on this as long as its the right height, weight and a good working position then it will be fine, hth x

Hi

No I will have to provide my own. I have seen one on ebay.... buy one get one free, so I could always sell he spare one.

And Gelly I keep going back to that table..... is it heavy ?

Sue

The one that I have isn't exactly light.... but it isn't exactly the same.
I would guess that mine is heavier as the legs on my desk look chunkier.

Not much help I'm sorry

That one says it is 11kg, which is roughly 24lbs..... so about 1st 10lbs.
Not that heavy really.
