Hi, I hope any of you other therapists can give me any advice on my future as a therapist. After owning my own salon for 9 years, and due to having the children moved onto becoming a sucessful mobile therapist for 8 years!, (i am not telling you my age, but im sure you can work it out!) I have also lectured at the local college, and also ran private courses through adult education, is it time to change career completely or go back to teaching/another salon. The old bones cant keep lugging my equipment round houses for much longer! Any ideas on a career move??

Why not set up a room at home. I use what was the dining room, not ideal, but it means I can fit work around family commitments and don't have the out lay of premises and staff.

I was going to say exactly the same as fruity. Set up from home and/or do some teaching aswell. Im mobile aswell but even though Im only 23 I already have a bad back after falling of a horse and carrying my couch ect makes it worse. I always think what will I do in the future.

Hope I have helped a little bit :)

i would set up a room at home also, that way you dont have to keep lugging your equpt around. And there will be no over head costs, means more proffit for you! good times x
