I have recently started working on general public (ie not just friends/family/friends of friend/family anymore) so need to be able to find the addresses of my clients.
I was looking into getting a sat nav, I have a blackberry but the sat nav on it requires monthly subscription. I was searching on the net, worrying about cost and not really knowing enough about sat navs to know whether I'm getting a good one or not, when I came across this site amAze - Free GPS Navigation for your mobile phone! and thought I'd pass it on. This is free sat nav software to download onto your mobile phone! I haven't tried it on the road yet, but I downloaded it onto my BB Curve 8900, and so far it has found everything I've put in! It apparently works on loads of phones.
I'll update you on how good I think it is in a few days when I've tried it out.
