I’m a mobile hairdresser and have been for the last 10 years (have been doing some of my clients for 15 years+), therefore a lot of my clients are quite set in their ways with me and my service. I want to start working from my home, because mobile is just becoming too much physically and stress-wise now, I’m suffering with back problems and I have anxiety to do with the travelling every day. This is only meant to be a temporary solution until one day I can rent a little studio room somewhere, but I need them to come to my house for the time being as mobile is no longer an option. I don’t have space for a proper built in salon but I do have a nice big kitchen, I’d have to wash their hair over my bath upstairs though. Has anyone ever made this transition before and did the clients stick with you?
