Hi geeks

I do Acrylics very rarely as my main business is CND Shellac.
I'm fully qualified in Acrylics but as I rarely do them I don't get much practice and I've been doing them for last 6 years only on myself.

I do mine every 2 weeks. I find that my monomer goes cloudy & thick.
I watched a you tube video to see where I'm going wrong and I saw the tech dipping brush in monomer n cleaning every few seconds.
Wouldn't that be wasting a lot monomer and the wiping causing a lot of monomer smell in salon.
Or is this the correct way?

You would only need to repeatedly clean your brush during application if you're working too wet and product is getting 'stuck' in the brush. So providing your mix ratio is correct you should only need to clean your brush in fresh monomer at the end of the service so it goes away clean.
