MSDS Sheets: Where did you gets yours?

I'm trying to print a collection of MSDS sheets for my products. To have on hand for myself BUT also for my clients.

My question is: where did you gets yours? Specifically for EZ Flow.
I've found a couple of sites online that give the MSDS but what I find curious is that the MSDS sheet on one site doesn't look the same as another, soooo I don't know how 'real' or reliable they are.

When I called distributor, the lady (french) didn't know what I meant and since I don't know what to call it in french.... I couldn't get the answer.

Not sure if this will help, but my old lab in Oxford has a great selection of MSDS sheets - Chemical and Other Safety Information from the Physical Chemistry Laboratory, Oxford University - including ethyl methacrylate - Safety (MSDS) data for ethyl methacrylate

So it might be useful if you have an ingredients list for a particular product and want to cross-reference particular ingredients with an MSDS sheet for that ingredient...

However, bear in mind that it's probably written from the point of view of using a particular chemical in an experiment rather than a salon product - but there may be some useful information all the same if it's not possible to locate an MSDS from any other source such as the manufacturer, for example.

I found there was a difference between the ez nails msds sheet and this one: http://quabieu.com/msds/ezflow/Clear.pdf

they're not "identical" and so.... I'm a tad wary. Ya know?

Shouldnt you be able to get these off your suppliers, as they also need them too.

About MSDS sheets: as i understand you must have a sheet what is made for your country. For e.g. in Finland there is no use of U.S.A sheet...
About the differences in sheets...different countries have different lists of dangerous products, laws etc etc. So thats why they may not look the same.
I was also hunting msds sheets for all my products a while back...now i always ask one with if i order or buy something new.
Funny thing...i thought all the distributors must have them...should not be that hard to get them.

The MSDS on the link I posted are exactly the same as the MSDS issued by Graftons here in the UK. HTH

I appreciate your help hun :hug:, but sometimes literal translations don't always work and I already tried that avenue.
So either A) it's not translated that way or B)I had a twit on the phone again :irked:

BUT for now, I'll use the AII that I had found before , and that Cathy posted again here.

ps: going to look into that canadian/european/american thing to see if there are any huge differences.

French translation or any translation can be a B**** sometimes as literal ones don't always apply.

example: "Mind your own business" in french is "Melles-toi de tes onions" WHICH literally is "Mind your own onions".......Yes......... onions....:lol:

I didn't say it made sense, just letting you know what the french equivalent is hehehe

UPDATE:

I now have the appropriate 'French" name for MSDS.
My 6pm client heads a Custom's broker's office... and of course.. knows about this stuff for international shipping... So I asked her:green:

At first, she wondered if I was talking about the same thing she was thinking it was (as sometimes abbreviations change industry to industry, or the same abbrev will mean diff things). But I clarified and explained, and yes, I knew what an MSDS was:lol:


Sooooooooooooo long story short...

If anyone needs the French term for MSDS , it is:

"Fiche Technique De Materiaux Composants"

which according to Google is:
sheet materials components

AND
the literal translation would be "File Technical of Materials composition"


See what I mean?:lol::lol::lol::lol:
