Music licence help

Hi geeks! My salon opens in under two weeks now and I'm sorting out my music license. I'm so confused between PPL & PRS they both seem to cover hair and beauty salons but on the gov.uk website it says the PRS license but then also says I may need ppl as well
Help please!

You usually need both regardless of how you play music. They cover different things. The amount you pay is also dependent on the size of your premises and how many beauty rooms you have. We use ichill in my salon. Very relaxing and completely license free x
