Hi Everyone:)

This is my 5th set, major improvements from my first (what a disaster that was lol) I took this pic with my phone so its not the greatest. Couldnt find the charger for my camera:irked: I wish I could have got clearer pics up but next time for sure.

One thing I definatly want to improve on is smile lines. I like deep exagerated smile lines.

Anyhoo let me know what you think:)

Also I have another pic how do I get it up?? I gotta say I really suck at navigating around this site lol.

I often upload pictures trough a website calles photobucket. if you upload your pictures in your album you get direct links that you can poste here. if someone clicks on them they can see that specifick picture directly. thats what i use at least.

regarding the picture,

I think that the amount of white is a bit to much. it isn´t in balance with the length of your nailbed. I think that if you take one thirth of the length of your nailbed for the length of your white you get a nice balance: also on some nails the free edge is a bit flaired. try to keep the sides nice and straight. i dont know if you use l+p or gel but when you do your smile line try to add a bit of white to the ears of your smile to make them a bit more dramatic.

I use l+p..

That girl has a tiny nail bed and she asked for them like that because she doesnt like to see her natural free edge line when it regrows....She said she knows that not how it supposed to look but it was how she wanted it...

Thanks for the critique:)

Ifshe doesnt like to see her nail bed when it grows, the best thing to do would be to use an opaque powder-that way shewouldn't beable to see the re-growth.
Great for a 5th set though.
Well done.
x

thanks i will do that:)

i agree with what already been said,i think using an opaque powder would be a great improvement as well as making you smile lines 'smile' more,im like you as i also like deep smile lines and im lucky enough that my natural smiles are quite deep but alot of clients wont be able to carry that look off so an opaque powder will again allow you to do this.
also think some of the nails look slightly fan shaped but this is easily corrected with a file.
well done for being brave and posting you've made a great start.x

If you look in my album, can't remember which one, I've got a photo of p&w with play boy bunnys on, just like yours, my girl wanted that amount of white, I hate them, but yes the customer is paying and if you want them to come back, you give them what they want:rolleyes: I like the pink detail, nice crisp line between the pink and white. Your line of light is a bit wobbly in places, that just needs a bit more attention to your filing and Meike has said everything else:) well done hun, you are geting better all the time:hug:

Thanks..

I did a set last night that didnt turn out very well...

Im getting so frustrated sometimes I just wanna give up!!! So many aspects to perfect and my schooling sucked im learning on my own basically. I didnt even touch a drill till my school was done and I bought my own drill. We did a ton of theory which I know is important but I learn from practical. We did one nail the last day, thats it. :irked:
