I am looking for advice sometimes when I apply my shellac lighter colours I have to apply three coats as the colour looks watery and I do shake my polishes well and add shellac base coat. When using darker shellac colours such as darker pink, oranges, reds, browns etc I only need to apply two coats of the colour. Help please!
 
Shellac has bad pigmentation in light colors...
 
Yes, the paler colours often need 3 coats. Better to do 3 thin coats than trying to get full opaque coverage with 2 thick coats.
No need to worry.
Use an orange stick to stir the colour if it's been sitting for a while. Preferable to shaking I feel.
