No sure what training you have had but the tips need to be blended babe :)

they are blended, if you mean where my own free edge is it's the resin from the tip that ran down, I have no lines where the tips are at all, I think its the light from above thats castin a line, i'd take more pics but i have polish on

Looks like a few air bubbles under the clear tips rather than the seam not blended to me. NSI Said something about the fact that they had a polyflex membrane you should always use a size bigger and tailor it to suit the nail to avoid the bubbles.

P.S. Forgot to look at nail art so am off for another look xx

The tips as i say are NSI they came in my gel balance kit,

As far as i can see i have 1 air bubble on my left little finger 1 out of 10 aint bad, I've only been doing them properly since jan this year, my nail tech taught me, i start my essential diploma in sculptered nail's tomorrow, already have my gel and acrylic diplomas, i ment it's the first time of putting them on here.

Applied the tips i used NSI line out on them, then applied NSI classic purely pink for the fill, didn't use the spa monomer as I dont like the sticky affect it leaves, even after wiping my nails with acetone as the instructions say they still feel yak, so i used NSI attraction monomer.

The nail art i cheat as i was tired lol, i used special FX camelion nail polish and the stars are nail sticker transfers.

can ask what you mean by you applied nsi line out on the tips? as this product is ment for filling in lines of the product that has lifted.:)

i applied it along the top of my tips, as sometimes they start to lift at the corners, so once i'd blended them i applied a touch to each corner

i use nsi products and i have never heard of it being used for that.the only thing i will say is that line out tends to yellow after a while so i think you would be better off perfecting your application of applying tips so you dont have to use it as they shouldnt be lifting.i hope you dont think im being harsh as that is not my intention,i am hoping that i am helping you.xx

Can you run us through how exactly you blend the tips??

this is what i was going to ask.:)
i dont use any tip blender i just use my file which i personally think that with practice is much easier and more effect.
applying tips still isnt my strongest point so i was really pleased when they bought out tips that dont need to be blended e.g well less performance tips by cnd.
im still not very quick at blending but i am able to do it if i have to.x

Hi Hun,

Just to say, 'Line out' by NSI is not to 'remove' the line that the tip leaves when you have applied it - you need to blend that.
'Line Out' is used on 'fill lines', I do have this product, although I rarely use it. It is basically a sticky glue like product.

Perfect your tip application & blending, not by using tip blenders, but by using your file as you should of been shown.

If you are not properly trained, you'd be better off leaving your own nails & the professional products alone until you have learned how to use them on a proper training course - that way you will not have these problems you are having now and also you will not allow yourself to become over exposed to the products and ruin your nails into the bargain.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh mate, but I'm only trying to help:hug:. You'll understand when you have undergone real training. You've obviously got some talent for nails, so you should enjoy your course.

i only use tip blender cause i find it easier, and i've only ever used it on myself cause more often than not i'm rushin to get my own done. Yes in my training i was taught to just file the edge to blend it

While everyone has been really nice, i think im perhaps going to be taken as harsh.. but that is NOT my intention!

Sounds to me like you dont really have a clue what the products your using are meant for??
the first few pics are not the best.. sorry but you said "give it to me straight , i can take it"..

Your nail tech taught you?? was she an educator? did you get a certificate??

I think if you really want to do nails then you should take more time and effort with your own hands, as they are your first advertisement to clients.. that is only if you are trained!

was i harsh? i can be nothing but honest.. One air bubble out of 10, is still one air bubble IMO!
