My New Ad - opinions wanted

H all. I have put together an ad for my local newspaper. I am new to the area and there are no master technicians in the area. This is the ad so far.

"New to Hastings & St. leonard's, London trained Master Nail Technician (NVQ Qualified) 7 years experience. I am offering beautiful natural looking nail enhancements and am a specialist in advanced nailbiter techniques. Introductory offer for one month only 20% off first visit.

Please feel free to change this around if you think you can word it better.

20% is too much, we offered 20% in a local mag and when you add it up at the end of the treatment, it's quite a lot, especially if every client is bringing you this offer and then they don't come back because they don't want to pay full price....go lower if you're going to do a discount.

mmmm, good point. maybe give a discount on a second treatment as an intro offer. 1/2 price pedi with a full set or something.

I love your ad, outlining your experience without being overly wordy or blowing your own horn. I, too, don't think a discount is a great idea. Perhaps offer a service (low overhead) for free to new clients that mention the ad. I.E. Present this ad to recieve a free parafin wax treatment with any full-price service!
Or such like.. free nailart, free hand mask, free hand massage come to mind. Whatever, but don't offer the discount. It attracts bargain hunters that are unlikely to return. Hope I have worded that well. Best of luck. Love the ad.
