did it myself - got a website in a box from MrSite and used one of their templates - got my dad to do the pics but I did the rest myself!!

I agree it needs more pics, especially on the home page. Not sure about the way prices are handled though. Not everyone has software capable of reading pdf files. I would personally prefer to see a list of service with prices within the relevant sections ie. in the hair section a little bit of 'blurb' followed with a list of treatments including prices then the same format in a section for nails etc

thank you all for your comments - I definitely need to get some photos!! I am also planning to change the price list - like you said not everyone can read pdf files and it makes alot of sense to have prices on every page!!
