Hello Geeks,

Well this (as the title states) is my very 1st full set of Calgel nails. I can already see a couple of places to improve such as the dimple on the client's index finger on her left hand and the smile lines need to be a bit deeper on some fingers as you can see the true smile line of her natural nail but...... overall for a very 1st attempt I thought they went ok. I'm doing another set tonight....

Your expert opinions is always appreciated though!

Thanks, Kirsty

I think they look great! :)

Excellent start! Just keep practicing and I am sure you'll be producing fab nails very soon. As you say, just make sure you cover the client's natural free-edge and leave a nice crisp free-edge with no debris, etc.

Well done!:)

Hi

Try applying in your white gel in two very thin layers and as had been said cover the natural smile, and neaten the f/e.

Also i would say build a little more in zone 2 with your clear and keep it really thin over the white.

Great first set x

I agree, the only thing that stands out is the naural free edge
