Thankyou in advance :)

Its a great website, well done but can i say something without offending, just some constructive criticism. It has a big teenage feel to it e.g the pictures of the younger girls rather than a mixture of young and older. And the pictures of the owners gives a teenage feel. Perhaps if you want you could tone this down a bit?
Not meaning to offend in anyway because im 17 myself, but i tend to keep my age and a teenage look off my website as the mature client may be put off.
xx

no your no offending me at all your helping me! lol

Thankyou :)

I think it is really nice,
i managed to find pics of clients from a different age range of the teenagers,
i would say your wax prices are too low though especially the intimate waxing, hth

Love the site, very well put together although I think VS has a point:lol:
But it depends on who you are targeting so no complaints far from it.
But:lol: who do you insure with?
I would have this on your home page, mum's find this sort of thing very reassuring when looking for pamper parties.
Good luck to you both I think you are going to have a lot of fun:hug:

I like the website hun. Ill be honest on a couple of things though.

1. I find your font a bit to big to read easy, it could just be my eyes though.

2. The pictures are great esp the before and after ones but are a little blurry to see many details in.

3. Ok also after reading the other comments I feel I agree, I like the pic of the girl with the star on her face but thats more kids party than serious beauty. Though cute.

Other than that it looks great.
Best of luck with it.

I find the white writing is a bit hard on the eyes, and may be harder for older clients. I had a similar problem with my first lot of price lists I had white or silver writing and clients moaned at me!!!!

Your prices are quite low but not sure is thats normal in your area.

And the make up pics are pixelated can you change the DPI to a better resolution.

The hair pics are brill, its just the make up ones that are a bit blurred but it could be my pc!

Other than that its easy to navigate, says what it needs to say and looks clean which is great! I hate cluttered web sites!!

The pixellation is because the browser is resizing the image (using the "width" and "height" attributes of the <img> tag) to a different size than the original image - web browsers are notoriously bad at resizing images smoothly, hence the pixellation. The original images are not pixellated.

Thankyou for all you replies and im working on it now so should be all done very shortly :)

About my prices being low what treatments did you think were low?

Your facial and waxing. If your mobile you need to cost in the traveling to and from clients and the time to set up and tidy up too!

so its my pc that will be right lol!

The Prices seem low to me on things like facials, massages and manicures.

Where I go the facials are about £35 + (only the express facial is £28) Massages are also £30 + and the manicures are at the lowest £15.

That might be either just in my area or the prices Im used to but that seems to be adverage(sp) up by me.

This is just going by the places and price lists I have seen though..

I think the site is great, nice shade of pink! I agree the text needs to be much smaller, the smaller it is the more professional the site will look. Also this will bring your links at the bottom of the page up higher, if you are worried about a lack of what to say or put on your front page fill the space will promotions and keep them fresh otherwise clients will look once and never again.

On the point of clients looking once, give them a reason to look! As I said above about changing offers but how about online booking? I've started using Appointment-Diary.com - Online Appointment Diary and Scheduling Software and found clients are going on my website all the time to book, plus they see my special offers and a lot of them end up booking them too!

I agree about the pic on the front page with the star, use that in a later page, the pic of the girl in your hair prices page would probably look better?

Also agree on your pricing, once you take into account petrol and your traveling time you won't make much profit, don't forget you offer convenience so that worth paying a little extra for!

Good luck hun! x

A few observations:

(1) 8 out of your 18 posts so far on this site (44%) make direct reference to the website appointment-diary.com

(2) A WHOIS lookup states that the registrar of this domain is Richard King, 482 Rochester Way, Eltham, SE9 6LJ, UK (this information is freely available by querying appointment-diary.com on the GoDaddy site, Go Daddy - Search the WhoIs database)

(3) Your web site states that your salon is in Sidcup (which is approximately 3 miles away from Eltham, RAC Route planner - your route map)

(4) If you are in any way associated with Richard King (which is statistically possible given the proximity of Eltham and Sidcup), and seek to gain financially from any new subscriptions to his service, then this may potentially be at variance with Geek Commandment Number 6, http://www.salongeek.com/how-do-stuff-site/31101-commandments-geek.html

Hi,
thanks for all your posts im definatley going to look into the online booking forms- how much does this cost?
and as for my prices they are pretty much the same as all the mobile therapists in the area but will def look over it

thanks again

xxxx

You may wish to promote the products you are using, especially for facials, manicure and pedicure. If you are not intending to sell them on-line, you could always say they are available to purchase from you in person.

I also thought your prices for beauty treatments looked low, but as everyone else has said, it may be your local market.

Good luck

J
