nail art brushes

hiya.
I'm looking for a set of nail art brushes (stripper brush, fine detail brush, dotting tool, skinny striper...). I've seen on ebay some, but all of them are from Hongkong, actually I don't want to buy anything more from China, because my last puchase was not very successful LOL. maybe someone can tell me please where i can buy a good set of brushes? THT

OPI have a few brushes, but each distributor sells what they want in the range, so I cannot be sure you can find them all in the UK. maybe contact Lena White...

all I can do is maybe send you picts or sizes if you're interested?

other than OPI I found great brushes with Artistic Nails but I don't know if these are available in UK again (as they work throu distrib and I don't know who is there for UK)

and I also have one that Pepyn Borrèl gave me that is very good too.

anyway.
there are just a few rules for nail art brushes,

if you want to use it with lacquer be sure it is meant to unless it won't last long
keep a brush for glitters (or more than one if you can afford it)
keep a brush for any colored monomere you may work with
keep nail art detail brushes for details (meaning the tip of the brush is NEVER used to anything else that printing details on nail art)

and for the rest, I can go on if you don't know how to pick a nail art brush...
or you have to follow the same basic rules about brush control here too

i prefer sable brushes for nail art and use this excellent online supplier.
the brushes are very good value.

i use a lot of airbrush paints for my hand painted designs. they are very fluid and highly pigmented, this results in vivid designs without a buildup of paint. the others i use are regular craft acrylics.

where do you purchase airbrush paints? (any links please) and what brush do you use with your acrylic paints? Mine is too big for apinting on nails, so I'm practising only on paper now. I'd also like to try airbbrush paints. thx.

some art shops sell them, and some nail companies do too.
i think millenium nails have them.
its so long since i bought any, they litteraly last years.
for best results, look for ones labeled 'opaque' colours
i use fine 'rigger' brushes from rosemary and co, and i trim out some of the hairs from the base to get even finer results.
i also use colur shapers and cocktail sticks for fine detail.
