hi

I keep looking at the different nail art on here and i was wondering - how do you do the glitter tips?

what do you use etc??


i saw a nail which had glitter floating inside it like it was filled with water - how do you do this?

please help

The way you do glitter tips is by mixing it with the acrylic powder. You use it like regular powder when you've mixed it. The ratio I use is 2 part acrylic powder to 1 part glitter. Then you use your form and do regular sculpts.
 
I also do the same -2 parts sometimes 3 parts acrylic powder to 1 part glitter - it just depends on how much bling you want in your tips. I love it - It's a great way to try smile lines before you do french with white.

I think there is a tutorial on here somewhere on how to do the
water incased nail with the glitter floating inside.
 
I also do glitter tips with gel. Paint the gel on, cure it - dont wipe away the sticky residue, then dab on the glitter. Once you have covered the area completely grab a very soft brush and gently brush off the excess then cap in clear acrylic.
