Hi, I am really keen to take my nail art to the next level. In 'Nails' I see fabulous designs were the extension has say jagged edges (like a christmas tree) or and had half of the extension removed to create an unusual shape. Does anyone know how these effects can be best acheived. :) I am keen to enter nail art competitions and don't thnk I can until I have a more unique design skil under by belt. So there are any experts out there please let me know of where to start :p Thanks..

I suggest you buy the latest art book "Nail Artistry", by The Untouchables...its covers all different kinds of nail art and has loadsa step-by-steps with FAB pics!!!

I got mine from Creative Nail Place - http://www.creativenailplace.com/Tech_pages/books.htm

Right babe,
Easy this one...............
Take nail clippers and cut the edges into the nail...................
then let the imagination take over..............
hope this helps

Thanks for the ideas/suggestions....
Will get cracking tonight.

Merry Christmas

Any kind of nail art can be beautiful, and some of the "funky"
designs that are out there are great!!
