I've seen your youtube channel and you use crystal nails brushes. Which ones would you recommend for thin lines and detailing?

I'd love to know this as well.

* Edited to add I also voted for you. 😀

They're beautiful Claire! Been playing around tonight, I'm not in the least bit artistic but I've found that Shellac inspires me so much! Some I've been working on ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1375208800.552309.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1375208815.216005.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1375208832.390880.jpg

I love doing nail art but wish I was more artistic. Some of your designs are amazing!

This may sound like a totally stupid question but what is 'one stroke'? Xx

You should definitely do some tutorials VerdePurdy, your nail art is great :) I would love to know how you do your patchwork stuff, my little sister loves the me to you bears and I would like to do those nails on her :)

This may sound like a stupid question but if your doing nail art on acrylic nails, and you want a plain background colour to do a design on, would you use coloured acrylic l+p, or would you do a plain nail and then paint the colour over your whole nail using acrylic paint?

Paint the nail as usual with polish/shellac and do your nail art in polish/shellac/acrylic paint

Dragging this back up :)

This is going to sound soooo stupid... do you think I could use a ruler for straight lines for quickness? Haha

My lines are rubbish (see photo below) I want them to be perfect. I know I use too much product. But whilst practising do you think it would be wrong to use a ruler? Haha cringe!!!

Why not use striping tape? Apply tape, shellac over then remove the tape before curing for perfectly straight lines 😊

I'm not sure about a ruler but a good tip is to keep the brush straight and move the finger you're doing art on. So if you put the finger on a flat surface then roll it side to side (hope this makes sense, there's a video somewhere that I'll try to link for you) xx
