Hi Geeks,

I have a nailbiter, who's coming over to do her nails. I have done her nails a few times, one time it stayed almost 2 weeks, and the other times, the nails always crack, fall off,...:irked:
I have other clients who can keep there enhancements up to 5 weeks, so I guess my application is not the problem.
I sometimes use tips, sometimes forms but they just won't stick. I have bought an intro pack of CND L&P, is it a good idea to try this on her? Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

It would not suprise me if there was a tutorial on here for that, did you do a search? I would search for you if I wasn't on my phone ;)

If it is an extreme nail biter that has the "pudge" of skin after the end of the nail, the best way to get enhancements to last is to carve a "saddle" into the tip before applying. Try looking for a tutorial and if you don't have any luck I will try to explain it better :)

Thanks, I have already searched here, the internet, you tube,... and I can't seem to find what I'm doing wrong, but I did it, I will see how it will last and if there are problems I will post them.
Hopefully not...

Hi Christina,

I'm guessing if your other clients are not having a problem, and this client has once lasted two weeks it's something she is doing....Nail biters are notorious for putting their fingers in their mouths!, perhaps not biting completely but biting down on them which will make tiny little cracks which will become bigger(as they keep doing this), and eventually the nail will snap at the tip! Also they are alot harsher on their nails as they are not used to having nails hth xx

Thanks for the reply, I will tell her to keep her fingers out of her mouth. I sometimes question myself because I don't have that much experience but people don't always tell what they do, it's really frustrating!!

Happy newyear!

hi christina

if shes a severe nail bitter then maybe her nails arnt long enough for the nails to attatch so maybe leaving her nails for 2 weeks is too long as the other girls said shes more likely to bang and bite them. try doing them again after a week just until her nails grow up a bit and can sustain 2 weeks. im sure your not doing anything wrong. :)
