Nail biting question

I’m doing my coursework and it asks - If a client comes to you with very short bitten nails, how do you decide the length of the tips, and how do you prepare the tips?

The beginning part of my answer is advising the client to have a short style to start with but I’m now stuck on the bit of how to prepare the tips. Help please

If the client has extremely bitten nails , tips will have nothing to adhere to, best to use a form and sculpt just enough to look like a very short nail, round the corner too so there’s nothing to catch.
